Dedicated to the development and enrichment of musical level of education and piano performance, The ART Of PIANO works with top music professors from the United States and Europe, and offers individual private instructions as well as group masterclasses in Classical Piano & Theory, Jazz Piano & Theory, Piano Improvisation, Foundations of Vocal Techniques & Piano Accompaniment.

Polina’s teaching philosophy embraces the idea that music helps to develop a complete and 

well-rounded person. Supporting studies which show that a child who learns music does better in other subjects, she believes that it is important to develop in students a deep appreciation for music history, styles, knowledge of composers and their works, a variety of musical genres, as well as to discover talent and facilitate musical creativity and interest in piano for life.  

Built on the combination of the greatest Russian and European classical traditions in 

music education, Polina’s teaching method is intended to discover the internal musical abilities 

of a student. Individual and group lessons are developed to train students in sight reading, piano technique and advance them in theory. Emphasis is particularly put on helping a student to establish a proper practicing routine and teaching self-analytical musical skills.

Polina De Carlo has an individual approach to her students, and therefore she sets goals depending on the musical development as well as interest of each student. 

As an educator, Polina’s expectations are to learn at the pace of every student's abilities, but with the necessary engagement for maximum effort to achieve the desirable progression and growth.
